Freelancing can often feel like a solo pursuit
But with the right support it doesn’t have to be. We’ll start by understanding your weaknesses then map these to people in your life who can help you turn them around. Whether you walk away with one solid accountability partner or five people on your side, the idea is you build up a support network to propel you forward on your journey as a freelance creative.
This allows you to stop being so reactive and start becoming more proactive. Let’s do it!
This is an exercise in self-awareness. I want you to identify 5-10 of your greatest strengths and weaknesses focussing on soft skills.
Once you've landed on the key attributes that are holding you back, think about the people in your life who have complimentary strengths that could support your soft spots.
Now that you've identified people in your life that are valuable to your wellbeing, I want you to build a narrative that will help you in reaching out and enabling them to actively support you.
You've built a support profile. You now have a script for a conversation that you can have with each support team member. Now take a deep breath and start empowering people to help you grow.
Finding your path as a creative is a precarious maze. Fortunately, there's more purpose-driven folks in the same boat as you.
I’d love to meet you and give you my time & energy. Come join a group mentoring session so we can talk about all the beautifully twisted things that come with being a creative.
